Reservation Policy

Reservations for the Bed and Breakfast lodging only. Contact Terri by phone or email for reservations made within 24 hours prior to arrival. Cancelation policy is 72 hour prior to arrival or one night will be charged if not notified.

Reservations with pets. You must contact Terri direct to make a reervation with a pet.

RESERVATIONS for day trips including horse trail rides, white water rafting, jet boat tours. To Confirm the booking, a per person deposit of $20.00.  All Deposits are NON Refundable. Whitebird Summit Lodge Inc. can make exceptions but only by speaking to Terri or Frank. 

FINAL PAYMENT  are due 30 days prior to activity. Guests who choose to pay by credit card will have their final payments automatically charged to their credit card on file unless otherwise specified or a check is received prior to the due date.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS Deposits and final payments are non refundable. However, Whitebird Summit Lodge. does provide for the transfer of payments to an alternate guest, provided we receive notice within 21 days before trip date.

RESERVATIONS for multi day river trips or Gilmore back country trips. To Confirm the booking, a per person deposit of $150.00. All Deposits are NON Refundable. Whitebird Summit Lodge Inc. can make exceptions but only by speaking to Terri or Frank.

FINAL PAYMENT for multi day river trips and Gilmore back country trips Your final payment is due 90 days prior to trip launch date for all overnight trips  Guests who choose to pay by credit card will have their final payents automatically charged to their credit card on file unless otherwise specified or a check is received prior to the due date.

TRIP INSURANCE We strongly recommend Tour Protection Insurance that includes Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance, and Accident and Heath Insurance. A policy will protect guests financially if your trip is cancelled, interrupted or delayed due to sickness, injury or heath, financial default of airlines, weather conditions or acts of terrorism. Tipping

One of the most commonly asked questions is about tipping. While tipping is not required, it is customary if you feel your guides have worked hard and provided you with a wonderful experience. Any amount is certainly appreciated, and a gratuity of 10% is customary for all multi-day trips. 1/2 and Full Day gratuities range from $20.00 to $50.00+ per guide. For multi-day trips on which a crew of several guides have worked, your gratuity can be given to any of the guides and they will pool and share all tips equally.
